Dirty carpets are vacuumed using a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter (High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter) removing tiny particles, mites and any droppings left behind.
Potent liquid solutions containing both detergent and disinfectant is spray onto the carpet with the help of special machinery. This results in a direct impact on any micro-organisms that are currently dwelling in the carpet (i.e., bacteria, moulds, etc.)
Depending on the type of grime and stain, it is then vaporised and flapped using a dedicated machinery (used for both home and commercial furnishings).
Once it has sat for a few minutes, the carpet is rinsed with hot water, using a special water vacuum (known as the hot water extraction process) eliminating dirty residue.
As the last step, the carpet should be kept for drying naturally (generally taking a few hours) or through a mechanical means to extricate excess moisture from the carpet.
